Frequently asked questions

No worries! Lessons can easily be rescheduled to a different time and/or day if I’m given at least 24 hours notice. Unfortunately late notice will mean that the lesson will be forfeited (and cannot be rescheduled).

Due to my limited availability, I only take on students in a weekly capacity. This way I can secure your lesson time week to week, and you can cater for it in your own schedule too. In my experience, weekly lessons are the best way to ensure that you’re getting the most out of your playing and improving consistently.

No worries! Simply send me an email and we’ll get it sorted!

You are never too old to learn guitar. I’ve taught students up to the age of 80 to play guitar with great success!

It depends. How much time are you willing to put into learning the guitar? New guitar players have certain strengths and certain weaknesses, so the easiest way to find out is to just start playing!

Lessons are tailored to your goals and needs, so if you’re not fussed about learning music theory, then it doesn’t have to be a focus in our lessons together.

Unfortunately without enough notice, I cannot reschedule lessons. Refer to your journal with instructions of what we were going to cover in your lesson and what you should focus on at home that week.
